This Privacy Policy supplements the General Terms and Conditions.

1. Introductory provisions

1.1 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

b) User the customer to whom the company provides the service consisting in the use of the Macdom application

1.2 The company develops and provides a tool to optimize photos and images

1.3 The application can be accessed after login via the web interface at https://imageminifier.com (hereinafter referred to as the Application).

1.4 The Company may at any time revise the Privacy Policy to change or amend it at any time. If the User continues to use the App after the terms have changed, this means that the User agrees to the new terms.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Users who are natural persons are subject to Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data, and since 18 May 2000. 2018 as well as Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2.2 The User agrees that by submitting a completed registration registration form by the user, the processing of personal data will commence by the company that is the controller of the personal data.

This is the data necessary to complete the order and information about the device from which you logged into the application.

For registered users, the company has a name, surname, registration and contact email, IP address of the device (from from which the application was logged in), phone number and billing information (bank account, ID number, VAT number, etc.). These data are necessary for the company to be able to provide its services and are thus processed for the performance of contractual obligations by the company.

2.3 The personal data referred to in Article 2.2 will be processed for the following purposes providing services by making the application available (performance of the contract), for for the purpose of protecting the servers against attacks (legitimate interest). The personal data referred to in this paragraph will be processed for the duration of the service contract and 2 for a period of 2 years after the end of the service contract in case of a dispute regarding relationship between the company and the user related to the general terms and conditions or this privacy policy data.

2.4 The User agrees that he/she may be emailed at by the Company, news, offers of the Company's services, technical information and operational information regarding the provision of services, information about planned downtimes of the application, etc. This for the duration of the provision of services and 3 months after its termination.

2.5 The User is entitled to consent to the processing of personal data and to receive commercial communications in accordance with the preceding paragraph to withdraw the consent at any time by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

2.6 The User acknowledges that upon termination of the provision of the Services the Company may permanently and irreversibly anonymise the personal data so that the application usage data will not be attributable to specific natural person, and may process the anonymised data for research, analytical and statistical purposes without time limitation. This is without prejudice to the processing of personal data pursuant to paragraphs 4 and 5.

2.7 The User acknowledges that the Company will use its best efforts to efforts to prevent unauthorized processing of personal data by others, but shall not be liable to the User for any damage caused by unauthorised processing of personal data by a third party.

2.8 The User acknowledges and agrees that personal data is stored on the Company's servers located in the Czech Republic, whose operation complies with European standards of protection personal data standards.

2.9 Personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

2.10 The User confirms that the personal data provided are true and accurate.

2.11 Personal data will be processed in electronic form in a non-automated manner.

In the event that the user believes that the company or processor carries out processing of his or her personal data that is in contrary to the protection of the user's private and personal life or in contrary to the law, in particular if the personal data are inaccurate with with regard to the purpose of the processing, he may:

a) ask the company or processor for an explanation, namely by email to [email protected],

b) object to the processing and request it by email to [email protected] to have the company remove the situation thus created (e.g. by blocking, implementing correcting, supplementing or destroying the personal data). The Company shall the objection without delay. If the Company does not comply with the objection, it shall the user has the right to apply directly to the Office for Personal Data Protection Data Protection Authority. This provision is without prejudice to the user's right to apply to the the Data Protection Authority directly with his complaint.

2.12 If the user requests information on the extent or manner of of the processing of his or her personal data, the company shall provide him or her with information to the user.

2.13 The User acknowledges that storage may occur cookies on his/her device in accordance with the Cookie Policy.

3. Other data protection provisions

3.1 If users enter and/or otherwise fill in the application users or third parties disclose personal data to the Company of third parties, they acknowledge that they themselves are liable to such persons data controllers and are responsible for the lawfulness of the processing. Z for this reason, users (and possibly other persons using the Company's contact forms) undertake that only disclose to the Company the data of third parties for whom they have the right to do so under the applicable legislation, and at the same time agree that such personal data may also be provided by the Company processed with the help of processors.

3.2 The User, as well as other persons who communicate to the Company personal data of themselves or third parties, further acknowledge that the Company will use its best endeavours to prevent unauthorised processing of personal data by others, but shall not be liable the user for any damage caused by the unauthorised processing of personal data third parties.

3.3 The User, as well as other persons who communicate to the Company personal data of themselves or third parties, acknowledge and agree that the Company uses the services of third parties, so-called processors, namely Wedos.cz, Google and Stripe, to whom it may transfer processed personal data for the fulfilment of the above mentioned purposes of processing. Their operation is in accordance with European data protection standards.

3.4 The User, as well as other persons who disclose to the Company personal data of themselves or third parties confirm that the personal data provided data are true and accurate and also undertake that they are they are obliged to notify the Company of any changes in the personal data so that only up-to-date and complete data is processed, and to the Company upon request or without request if the data is changed.

3.5.Personal data are processed in electronic form in a non-automated manner. Anonymised personal data may be also processed in an automated manner. Data subjects will not be subject to individual automated decision-making.

3.6 The Company never processes personal data of children or special categories of personal data, so-called sensitive personal data, in Article 9 of the GDPR.

3.7 The Company, the Users and other persons who disclose their personal data or the personal data of third parties to the Company are are obliged to provide each other with the necessary cooperation in the event of suspected misuse of the personal data of data subjects, and to make every effort to best efforts and take such measures to avoid the risk of misuse of personal data.

3.8 In the event that the User and/or any third party believe that the company or the processor is carrying out processing of personal data which is contrary to the protection of their private and personal life or contrary to the law, in particular if they are personal data are inaccurate in relation to the purpose of their processing, may:

  • ask the company or the processor for an explanation, namely by email to [email protected];
  • object to processing and request by email to [email protected] to have the company ensure the removal of the situation thus created;
  • ask the company by email for information on the extent or manner of the processing of his or her personal data, and the company shall must provide this information within 30 days at the latest.

3.9.The User acknowledges that cookies may be stored on his/her device in accordance with the Cookie Policy.

4. Final provisions

4.1 The Cookie Policy is part of the Privacy Policy, which describes the use of cookies on the Application Site.

4.2 All legal relationships arising out of or in in connection with the processing of personal data shall be governed by the legal the Czech Republic, regardless of where the access was accessed. To resolve any disputes arising in in connection with the protection of privacy between the user and the company are competent Czech courts, which will apply Czech law.

4.3 This Privacy Policy shall take effect on 11. 1. 2024..
